Over the past few post we have looked at some of the top questions a bride and groom should be asking their wedding venue. Wedding industry experts have decided on these questions, and as a Staffordshire Wedding Venue we want to put your minds a rest and explain exactly how The Moat House, Acton Trussell can make your wedding day dreams come true! Here we look at a few more of those burning questions you may have.
Does the venue have a catering service? Yes we do! We have an amazingly talented kitchen brigade who have developed an award winning restaurant service which has been rewarded with the AA 2 rosettes for the past 17 years. If selecting us as your wedding venue, your guests will be served by members of this kitchen team. Our Acton Suite also has its own banqueting kitchen, where you will have your own team of chefs working solely on producing the food for your guests. This team will include one of more senior chefs so you will be in perfectly safe hands. We do not allow outside catering on site, so if you are looking for a more personal menu, our head chef will be more than happy to join you during your wedding consultations and discuss this directly with you.
Can i book for a wedding tasting? Of course you can! Some wedding venues will offer tasting evenings for you to attend. However we do things slightly differently. We understand that you will have a busy schedule with work and family commitments, so want you to be able to come and try your menu at your own convenience. Therefore our wedding tastings are available Monday – Thursday during our restaurant opening times. Both lunchtime or dinner. There can be a maximum of 6 people attending the tasting, you select 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 desserts to try. The cost is £30.00 per person and this needs to be booked in advance and via your wedding coordinator.
Does the venue offer overnight accommodation? We do indeed! We have an amazing 41 bedrooms onsite including our stunning bridal suite, which is included in all our wedding packages for the night of the wedding. We want to take as much pressure off you as possible, so when you book your wedding date with us, we will automatically hold you an allocation of 20 bedrooms. These will be on hold until 3 months prior to your wedding date. Your guests can then call us directly quoting the date of the wedding and your names to access a room from your group allocation and at a reduced wedding rate!
Part 3 of our Wedding Venue Q&A is complete. If you have any other questions we have not covered, please use the contact tab to speak to a member of our team. Alternatively check back in next week for the final few questions we think you should know!
